ABOUT SEQUENT ADVISORY
Robbie Frazer is the founder of Sequent Advisory.
He spent three decades building, running and exiting international business-services companies, living and working in the UK, United States and Asia-Pacific.
After stepping back from full-time operating life in 2016, he spent much of the next decade experimenting with what came next himself, studying transition and identity change, and working with senior people facing similar questions. He had been involved in coaching since the late 1990s, but going through the transition himself made the subject more personal.
Over time, his work with individuals drew his attention to the organisations they were leaving. What happened before departure and how the relationship was handled afterwards had a substantial bearing on what came next for the person.
Sequent Advisory grew out of the reality that a senior exit involves an organisational transition and a personal one at the same time.

DELIVERY
SENIOR PRACTITIONERS
The right senior people are assembled around the particular problem.
A senior exit is a business problem and a personal one at the same time.
Almost everything is easier with time. Leaving it late narrows the options.
The firm and the person leaving both want reasonable things. They are not always the same things, however.
What comes next gets built by doing and reflecting on what happens, not by sitting alone trying to think your way to an answer.
When the job ends, the relationship doesn't have to.
